Written in plain English. This is a general notice about how this website works, not legal advice.
What we collect
If you send us a submission, correction or message, we collect the name, email address, venue name, website and message you provide. We use it only to look into what you told us and to reply. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
Saved venues
Your shortlist is stored in your own browser. It isn't tied to an account and we don't receive it. Clearing your browser storage clears the shortlist.
Technical data
Our hosting and database providers process ordinary technical information such as IP address and request logs in order to serve and secure the site. We use this only to keep the site running.
Links to venue websites
When you follow a link to a venue's own website, enquiry form or pricing page, you leave VenueKind and that venue's own privacy practices apply. Anything you send through a venue's enquiry form goes to that venue, not to us.
Retention and your choices
We keep submissions for as long as they are useful for maintaining the directory. You can ask us to delete a submission you sent, or to correct information in it, using our contact page.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the updated version will simply replace this one on this page.
